Issue 2 of Modern Design Review features carefully considered and beautifully presented stories on contemporary product and furniture design. The original content in Issue 2 includes a lengthy ‘Soft Section’ that addresses textiles and comfort in contemporary design through a number of affiliated stories, plus a counter essay on ‘Hardness’. A comprehensive conversation with the great Andrea Branzi is followed by homage to his work and, later, we pause to explore the ethereal work of Wonmin Park. A whimsical and substantial reflection on the role of the button in electrical design is a typical Modern Design Review feature, we include a round-up of our favourite buttons and contribution from some of the finest product designers around.
