The disparate voices come together to reflect a sense of visitation – visiting your grandmas town in Sicily en route to sample pecorino, visiting Detroit, a "great American city" and its revival through the collaborations of citizens, industry and expats. “out of place in the outer banks,” visits two New Yorkers in north Carolina and our visit to Santa Barbara scratches beneath the polished Southern California surface to reveal the universality of violence, the reality of the lifecycle in these United States today.
