Info

Ceramic Review is the magazine for contemporary ceramic art and craft, and is read worldwide. Combining both practical and theoretical features, it is an invaluable resource for potters, ceramists, ceramic artists, collectors, enthusiasts, students, and anyone interested in ceramics. Published bi-monthly, the magazine arose out of the newsletter of the Craft Potters Association. Ceramic Review’s first editors, Emmanuel Cooper and Eileen Lewenstein, strove to promote and further develop the outward-looking qualities of the Association and to respond to the ever-widening interest in studio pottery.

The first issue appeared in 1970 and focused on raku with a lead article by Walter Keeler. Since then, the magazine has tracked and reported on changes and trends in studio pottery both nationally and abroad.
