The Illustration Issue, is what we believe to be our finest work to date. One of our favourite (and most appreciated!) artists, Rosa Middleton, has covered this issue with her art; literally from front to back, and everything in between! We’ve got thoughtful op-ed pieces about foundational illustrators—see Georgia Butler’s article on the Lichtenstein Retrospective—as well articles exploring exciting new projects like Nine Worlds GeekFest. Our regular column, ‘A Word From the Y’, is occupied this quarter by the inspiring Dr. Will Brooker who explains his motivations for creating the fantastic new web comic My So Called Secret Identity.
