Someone once said “Imagination rules the world.” We took the words literally.
This season is about actions, or better the reinvention of them. That’s why we try to catch the creative heat of sketches. That’s why we cut it short and went straight to meet the all time heroes’ heroes: Joan of Arc, Wonder Woman, Mulan, Lara Croft, Eva Kant, Sailor Moon, need we say more? Their passion is still burning, their legacy alive, their fashion choices unpredictable, yet coherent with their selves.
We start by following the sophisticated steps of the three most stylish globetrotters, girls ruled by their curiosity: Margherita Missoni, Tatiana Santo Domingo and Eugenie Niarchos, a.k.a. the Spiceburnz. We chatted with Elizabeth Taylor, Isadora Duncan, Gertrude Stein, Bette Davis about all things from freedom to champagne; with met beautiful icons of all time, from Cleopatra to Helen of Troy, they shared their beauty tips; we sang along the digital fashion notes of passionate fashionista Anna Dello Russo.
Portraying themselves with their very own words, eleven women shine on our pages, I AM – Self Portrait With Words features, Eva Herzigova, Emma Hill, Charlotte Stockdale, Caroline Scheufele, Aliza Licht, Sara Battaglia, Elle Muliarchyk, Eugenie Niarchos, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Noor Fares, Simone Rocha.
The Glorious Issue fights fire with fire. Long live imagination!
