Inventory was established in 2009 as an online platform and biannual publication to explore the aesthetic and cultural interests of its founders. By offering a unique and global perspective on design, craftsmanship and culture, both forgo the temporariness of trend to instead focus on the brands, designers and artists whose bodies of work reflect a commitment to quality, and a desire for innovation.
Cover stories for Spring-Summer ’14 focus on Ichiro Nakatsu, founder of the ever-impressive Japanese brand orSlow, and emerging English furniture designer, Dean Edmonds. The tenth issue of Inventory also features Heath Ceramics, Nieves, Andrea Aranow, Nepenthes, Artek and Haider Ackermann, as well as contributions by Mark Borthwick, JIMA and Margaret Howell.
