All roads lead to... Milan! At least for those in love with design. The latest issue of Label Magazine features coverage from this year's Design Week Milan. Meet designer Oki Sato, aka Nendo, who is a display of incredible energy, humble attitude, and open mindedness. Sisters Marie and Anica Eklund, who run the family company Bolon, a flooring producer, share their thoughts about Swedish design, inspirations, and constant evolution. Do Japanese and Scandinavian design have something in common? The answer is provided by Chie Piskorska – do not miss out "Sushi, Danish style!" To support those who are into design as much as we are, we invited bloggers who are passionate about the subject to write for us. We are pleased to give you the first installment of this new column, and hope you will find it a source of inspiration. We also take a closer look at modern houses, which no longer resemble match boxes with their blocky and dull appearance, but instead are all about functionality, eco friendliness, and creativity. Have you ever wondered who invented the laundry clip or the deckchair? Anonymous people from the past who came up with timeless ideas are brought to light in the captivating story "Design without designers". The recent issue also examines the artistic legacy of Roy Lichtenstein – a hero of joyful creativity. Those who are into cars should check out Rafała Jemielita's column, this time on convertibles, and our report from a visit to the Rolls Royce plant. We hope you will enjoy the new issue!
