Man of the World is a men's lifestyle handbook that caters to men who seek a life of class and sophistication.
USD 16.00 — Released 1 April 2013
At Man of the World, we are always moving forward—there are too many things to see to stop being curious. We celebrate the classics but we’re looking for new directions, from musicians to artists, climbers to craftsmen. So many creative people are doing good work that it’s hard to fit them between two covers. But that’s why we love our jobs.
For this issue we traveled from San Francisco to Amsterdam, from side streets to grand canals. We sought out dining counters and great tables, backstreet barbers and impeccable bookstores. Men today look for greatness wherever it lives, from accomplished names to emerging talent. We’ve pulled together some people who have succeeded on their own terms, from a West Coast painter to a New England forager. It’s time to revisit the novelist and screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis, who gives an insightful interview about how he’s learned to navigate the film industry.
