Matter is a biannual publication of 13 academic and photo essays surveying the social reality of conflict and political tension. By concentrating on a region politicised by big media in each issue, we depart from the traditional domain of politics, deconstructing speculative narrative through philosophy, contemporary literature, psycho-geography, art and architecture.
