For our profile interviews, we meet up with eight extraordinary individuals such as documentary filmmaker, Mahen Bala; Takahara Suiko of the 'experimenternative' music band, the Venopian Solitude; the taste librarian, Basira Yeusuff; the analogue world gatekeeper, Chin Koon Yik; the Mak Yong purist, Professor Ghulam-Sarwar Yousof; the urban cycling game master, Jeffrey Lim; the henna rebel, Anna Maria and digital surrealist, Sharina Shahrin. We also feature writings by Atikah Abdul Wahid, Shari E. Jaffri, Emily Sekai, Afi Noor, Aizuddin Anuar, and Luwita Hana Randhawa including some favourite things of Adeline Chong of the Snackfood fame.
