Opening Ceremony Annual is a limited-edition annual magazine published by Opening Ceremony.
USD 25.00 — Released 12 August 2012
Revolving around a different theme each year, the inaugural issue focuses on SPORTS for an Olympic year. With imagery and text by both iconic and up-and-coming photographers, artists, and writers, the magazine features a range of incredible, athletic content. This is a new kind of opening ceremony: a place where fashion doesn’t have to be “major,” or sexy, or instantly buyable and clickable, but where discovery and curiosity are tantamount.
Featuring a cover and ballet vs. basketball love story as imagined by Bruce Weber, as well as contributions by Walter Pfeiffer, Jessica Craig-Martin, Roe Ethridge, Tim Barber, Terence Koh, Marie Chaix, Katja Rahlwes, Poppy de Villeneuve, DIS, Andrew Kuo, Todd Cole, Sean Thomas, Maciek Kobielski, Jesse Pearson, Heidi Julavits, Lisa Rovner, Theo Wenner, Tom Sachs, and many more.
Printed in America with mixed paper stocks and an oversized format, 288 pages.
