"OOTP (aka Out Of The Package) is a magazine published in Taiwan via the PUBU platform. With so many design media utilizing the explanatory style, we like to think that design should literally be taken "out of the package" in order to be used and experienced by the public. Hence OOTP's agenda will always have the consumer's point of view in mind. Whether the design is a fair (which is our main focus) or an exhibition, a product or a designer, we will always provide in-depth coverage and hopefully a new kind of design magazine for the Asian market. Above all else, we don't like to take ourselves too seriously!"
"Our content consists of 3 main chapters: CHAPTER 1: IMPRESSION is all about design fairs, and sometimes a specific design exhibition review. This issue, we explore in depth into the biggest design fair of the world: Salone Del Mobile. Milano in search for new, fresh and exciting design. We’re not about design trends per se, but will definitely be on the look out for small data of the design scene.
CHAPTER 2：OBJECT features look into the details of making and (more importantly) using a design item. In this issue, we looked closer at the details of design at Salone del Mobile; we visited Fondazione Vico Magistretti and discovered some lost designs; and we also reviewed some catalogues from brands that keeping it fresh and fun and collectable.
CHAPTER 3: WONDERMENT features, simply put: Design Interview, Q&A style. At OOTP, we value conversations more than sound bites. This issue, we've talked to a new design team, a self taught Designpreneur, a third generation brand founder and a US debut in Milan. All in all, conversations that will amazes readers.
LAST CHAPTER: NEWS (OR THINGS TO FOLLOW UP) is all about news from the design world, or things we’ve seen, listened to that we like to share with our readers."
