The stories in this issue are about cities; a celebration of the gritty, urban reality of our everyday lives.
In ‘The City Issue’ we showcase the raw magnetism to be found upon the streets of an urban environment. Through a combination of written and visual stories, we explore the feeling and emotion often associated with city living. We visit the streets of New York, journey underground in London and explore the windy city of Chicago, reflecting on what it means to call a city home. We interview ONA Bags founder, Tracy Foster, and photographer Ray H. Mercado and learn about their experience of living and working in the city. Travelling through the night as a taxi driver, we realise how it is in the dark the city is truly able to come alive. It is through exploring this internal illumination we discover the element of peace that has become so important to the pages of our magazine.
