Red wine from the Arizona desert, a man who's lived in the world's remotest places, lessons from a wolf, and the world's largest record collection all grace the pages of the latest issue. We've tried some new things this time around too...

Seven Australian writers (including John Birmingham and Brendan Cowell) have contributed to Smith's first fiction feature, based on one of our favourite tales: Ferris Bueller's Day Off. We've also gone bilingual. The story of master bird-caller Frenchman Francois Morel flowed so well in French it's been printed in his mother tongue (with an English translation of course). In another and very important first: we constructed a cold-smokehouse with a lot of help from our friends and there's a video of the process live here.
