Spesial Nord is an artist run, Nordic publication designed to function as a showroom for young newly established artists from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Island. Selected artist is invited to present themselves thru work exclusively commissioned for the respective issue with focus on visual material and texts which refers to and reflects the artistic process.

This is the very first issue, and the focus is to present projects created exclusively for Spesial Nord focusing on the artistic process. It has a DIY profile with loose items such as postcards glued into each magazine, and a poster in the middle. We gave the whole cover to one artist, Andreas Poppelier, which made a fantastic contribution.
