This issue explores the potential of mapping in understanding the suburban condition. In a landscape built on movement, how we move effects what we know. A map is provided of a suggested walking route around the Goatstown/Dundrum area, with points of interest marked out along the way. Some are a little bit hidden, others in plain sight, but each have been included as places of rare forms and functions in the suburban fabric. The map is an idea for an alternative reading of suburbia.
