ALVAR is a magazine about style and culture. We explore the links and relationships between style, culture, creativity and society. For us, trends are not what matter but stories, and style is not about fashion but life.
Our home is in east London but we come with a Nordic twist and limitless curiosity for the rest of the world.
And because we believe in paper, ink and lasting impacts, we publish a print issue twice a year. The first one came out in October 2013 and is currently sold in UK, France, Germany, Finland, Sweden, USA, Australia, Spain, Italy, Canada, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
