“O.H. Buoy”

EUR 8.00 — Released 2 September 2013

For this issue of Boktor Magazine we came up with Buoy, a natural reserve turned sovereign island. We provided our participants with a detailed backstory and published their ideas in the Offshore Herald of Buoy, the island's national newspaper.

Next to the island's history, each participant received the news report by Will Do and two requests:

  • Send us a square with a simple line, going from one side to another. We then joined all the lines to create the Buoy coastline.

  • Create an article for your assigned section of the O.H. Buoy, using your usual medium.

The artists were invited to think about the perils of forming a new country whilst experimenting with the traditional newspaper categories.
