Akin is a bi-annual publication & pop-up magazine shop. We were founded in 2018 by Alice Daisy Pomfret. After a successful kick-starter campaign we launched our first issue. Each issue of Akin is inspired by a different person. We delve into who they are and what they have achieved via the lens of other creatives. In between issues we aim to help local creatives by holding events, talks & pop-up shops. It’s important to us as a magazine to exist both on and offline. We stock over 50 different independent titles in our pop-up shops in and around Norwich. We have also worked on creative projects with local community members, our most recent was the creation of good: shop. A shop created, stocked & ran by Norwich locals.
