The founders behind the Copenhagen-based fashion brand Rützou, now welcomes The Chronicle, a new visual-oriented biannual publication.

In the debut publication, launched August 17 during Stockholm Fashion Week, The Chronicle will take you from the brutal ruins of Detroit to the psychologically charged work of the late artist Louise Bourgeois. It will go from long exposed images of lavish French tulips and fleshy lilies, over more than a decade ago, to personal registrations and references from creative individuals. No need to say it has been interesting to put it together.

The publication is designed so that it will make it easy for the reader to tear out the pages and bring them into their own moodboards, to pin favourite images up on a wall, re-paint them or use them to write a letter to someone special. The hope by this design is to make it a humble contribution from Rützou to other creative people by presenting what we find interesting within art, photography, people and places.

”I love the idea of trying to do something that is not already out there, from how the cover looks to the format, from the editorial mix to the fact that we don’t have any traditional fashion stories. We have done our best to give something back to the creative world that Rützou has been part of for more than a decade,” explains Susanne Rützou, founder and head of the design team.

The Chronicle will be launched biannually.
