Boktor is a Belgian magazine in which international illustrators, writers and other creatives are invited to work around a specific theme. We like to challenge their approach towards delivering exceptional work by handing them hurdles to overcome.
EUR 25.00 — Released 8 May 2013
'Robot-K' is an homage to the main inspiration behind Boktor Magazine, Franz Kafka, and robots. Artists were free to create their artwork based on a Kafka reference, bureaucracy, robots or automated processes.
To adhere to the concept and theme, all stories, illustrations and comics are packed in a grey folder, which immediately creates an bureaucratic atmosphere. We think it's extremely important for the innards of this first issue to closely follow made-up rules and guidelines, tightly organised and filed into sections and tabs.
