Maybe you’ve played videogames your whole life, or maybe you’re curious about this new and exciting medium. Five out of Ten is a magazine for everyone: a place for the best independent videogame criticism and culture writing from around the world.

We believe that videogame culture is worth exploring, and good writing is worth paying for.

We split our profits between the five authors in each issue. There’s no advertising or corporate sponsorship, no ‘news’ or reviews: just great features that are fresh, bold and timeless. We are a place where experience meets investigation and fact meets fiction. We’re interested in the thoughts that go beyond play.
